What would you put on this banner? He brought us closer to the topic of wind energy and its problems. Even if wind power is a cheap and great resource, people complain that wind turbines are a hazard for birds. The problem is that people do not want such turbines close to them. Asked the question where to build such turbines people would answer: “Not in my back yard” (NIMBY)- the well-spread concept “Build Absolutely Nothing Anywhere Near Anyone” (BANANA). The core message of Prateek’s speech was to say YIMBY (“Yes in my backyard”). With the help of his visual help, in this case Powerpoint and its animations, Prateek suceeded in presenting a serious topic in a very funny and entertaining way.

Manjana delivered Project 3 The Demonstration Talk entitled “DNA for Dummies” from the advanced manual, Speaking to Inform.
