How to be a guest
You are invited to attend at any time as a guest!
Just be prepared to say a few words about yourself.
Please turn up promptly at 19:30 for registration.
How to become a Mercury Member
You love the Mercury spirit?
You've been our guest and want to be part of
our great training platform?
You share our enthusiasm?
Our Vice President Membership is there for you to
discuss your
objectives with you and help you fill in your
membership application.
In the next step, the Board will decide on
your application,
and this decision is then to be ratified
by the members at the following meeting.
After our members have voted in favour of
your application,
we'll ask you to pay your membership dues,
and once that's done you're a Mercury member!
A Toastmaster's Promise
The Toastmaster's Promise is made by all
Toastmasters. Here it is:
- To attend club meetings regularly
- To prepare all of my speeches to the best
of my ability, basing them on projects in
the Competent Communication manual or the
Advanced Communication Series manuals
- To prepare for and fulfill meeting assignments
- To provide fellow members with helpful,
constructive evaluations
- To help the club maintain the positive, friendly
environment necessary for all members to learn
and grow
- To serve my club as an officer when called upon
to do so
- To treat my fellow club members and our guests
with respect and courtesy
- To bring guests to club meetings so they can see
the benefits Toastmasters membership offers
- To adhere to the guidelines and rules for all
Toastmasters educational and recognition programs
- To maintain honest and highly ethical standards
during the conduct of all Toastmasters activities
Costs
As a Guest: No costs to be our guest!
As a Member (as of June 2008;

- Initial joining fee including the Membership Kit
containing the two basic manuals:
20 Euros
- Monthly dues, include the monthly
Toastmasters Magazine: 6 Euros
- Dues are payable every six months or part thereof
depending on when you join.
